Arcfox T1 Electric Crossover Launching in Nepal on August 10
Laxmi Motorhub, the authorized distributor of BAIC and its premium electric vehicle brand Arcfox in Nepal, is set to launch the all-new Arcfox T1 electric crossover on August 10, ahead of the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026.
The launch will further expand the Laxmi Group’s electric vehicle portfolio in Nepal while introducing a new contender in the country's increasingly competitive mid-range EV segment.
Positioned as a compact electric crossover, the Arcfox T1 combines the practicality of a hatchback with SUV-inspired styling. It measures 4,337 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width, and 1,573 mm in height, while its 2,750 mm wheelbase is expected to provide a spacious cabin for five occupants.
The T1 is powered by a front-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor producing 95 kW (127 PS) and 176 Nm of peak torque. Energy is supplied by a 42.3 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery pack, which delivers a claimed CLTC-certified driving range of up to 425 km on a single charge.
According to the company, the electric crossover accelerates from 0-50 km/h in 5.2 seconds and from 50-80 km/h in 3.9 seconds, offering responsive performance for both urban driving and highway overtaking.
It also has a claimed top speed of over 150 km/h, a maximum gradeability of 30 percent, and an energy consumption rating of 12.0 kWh per 100 km under the CLTC test cycle.
In terms of technology and safety, the Arcfox T1 is expected to feature Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) alongside a range of modern safety technologies. The vehicle has also been developed to comply with China's C-NCAP safety standards, reinforcing its emphasis on occupant protection.
Laxmi Motorhub has yet to announce the official Nepal-specification features and pricing. However, industry sources suggest the Arcfox T1 could be priced between Rs 40 lakh and Rs 45 lakh, placing it against rivals such as the BYD Dolphin, Proton e.MAS 5, the upcoming Leapmotor B03X and other electric vehicles in the same price bracket.
With its official Nepal debut scheduled for August 10, the Arcfox T1 will arrive just before the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, where several new electric vehicles are expected to make their public debut.
